My name is Scott Burns Kahler; I am a psychotherapist and a personal/professional development coach. Clients come to me for a wide variety of reasons — feelings of anxiety or depression, issues with self-esteem, and problems in relationships are just a few. I have developed a specialty in collaborative, strengths-based, solution-focused work with clients who describe themselves as suffering from feelings of anxiety and stress, and often problems with self-esteem, to help them experience greater calm and confidence in their lives.
I maintain a private counseling practice in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis, Indiana. I have a coaching practice with clients near and far over the telephone and Skype. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Indiana, a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and serve as the representative for central Indiana on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (IAMFT). I am a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an Energy Leadership Index™ Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).
You can find listings for me in several online directories of therapists and coaches, including The Therapy Directory associated with Psychology Today; TherapistLocator.net, a public service provided by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Research and Education Foundation; AllTherapist.com; and the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) Directory of Coaches.
